SUMMARY:LGBTQ+ Youth of Color Group
DESCRIPTION:The LGBTQ+ youth of color group is designed to provide support\, guidance\, and ways of managing your mental and emotional well-being. Potential topics include family and social supports\, safety and discrimination\, coming out and/or transitioning\, access to services and local resources\, and resilience and perseverance. \nWhy should I apply?  \nThis is an opportunity to participate in free group therapy with an experienced licensed marriage and family therapist\, Nelson Hernandez LMFT-Associate. These therapy sessions allow yourself and others to create personal goals\, learn more about your mental health\, and identify your strengths and resilience. The Strengthening Colors of PRIDE team will also give brief surveys to participants throughout the sessions. Those who chose to complete the 3 surveys will receive a small monetary incentive after completing each one.
