SUMMARY:Yanawana: The Wait | Of Water - Closing Reception & NOISE FLOOR Performance
DESCRIPTION:The Yanawana: The Wait | Of Water project is an exploration of land\, water\, and culture\, connecting the past with the present through sonic and visual art. Rooted in San Antonio’s history\, this work blends sound and sculpture to create both musical and visual expressions. Inspired by the indigenous name for the San Antonio River\, Yanaguana.  The project reflects curiosity and mystical connection between the land\, water\, and culture. Through this work\, Martinez / Teletextile seek to expand a practice from music performance to creating visual art\, embracing a new direction for their artistic journey. \nThe closing show will feature a live performance at 9:30pm of NOISE FLOOR with the Listener’s Gallery Collaborators and an Open Call introduction.
