Community Town Hall

Pride Center San Antonio will be hosting a town hall at the D.R. Semmes Family YMCA. The purpose of this event is to update our community members on the recent policy changes to Texas DPS and DSHS that prevents trans and gender diverse Texans from changing the gender markers on their Texas drivers licenses and birth certificates. We are collaborating with our partners in the legal community to provide the most comprehensive and updated information possible regarding how these policies are playing out, how we can navigate them, what future changes may be coming, and how we can fight the oppression of the trans and gender diverse community in Texas. If you are unable to attend in person, a Zoom meeting will be held and recorded.
