On Sunday, June 9th, we welcome you to the 2024 Icon’s Brunch, an event that celebrates the vibrant tapestry of our LGBTQ+ community in San Antonio. As the Executive Director of Pride Center, it is my honor to extend a warm welcome to each one of you.

This year’s brunch holds a special significance as we commemorate not only the remarkable individuals who have made a lasting impact in our community but also the 13-year journey of Pride Center in serving and empowering our LGBTQ+ family. It is a testament to the resilience, strength, and unity that define us.

Under the theme “Roaring 20s: An Age of Prosperity,” we invite you to step back in time and immerse yourselves in the spirit of an era marked by progress, celebration, and unbridled optimism. Let us draw inspiration from the resilience of those who came before us as we continue to pave the way towards a future of equality, acceptance, and love for all.

We come together to honor our icons, reflect on our shared journey, and also reaffirm our commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable world for generations to come.
