Exciting times for Pride Center San Antonio as well. As we mentioned before, yepThreads has committed the next $1000 raised (after reaching their goal) to The Center.

It’s wonderful to see the outpouring of support for yepThreads, not to mention the support that Pride Center San Antonio has been able to generate with our supporters. One of these many backers includes, Suburban Spaces Real Estate Group, who has stepped up and once again showed their commitment to The Center. Brian Lopez-Rosa and Chad Nall, owners of Suburban Spaces Real Estate Group, were the presenting sponsor of The Center’s grand opening in June 2014. Not only did they become yep backers, they went above and beyond and offered to increase their contribution to become the state sponsor when marriage equality comes to Texas! Thank you guys! Your support to the LGBT community and San Antonio is unwavering.

Pride Center Friends!

We’re excited to announce our partnership with locally owned, yepThreads. If you haven’t had the opportunity to learn about yepThreads, I hope you’ll take a few minutes today to check out this amazing project.

Their concept is pretty simple, yet brilliant. They believe we shouldn’t have to “come out” any more. We should just be able to say – “yep” – we love who we love & we are who we are!” Let’s eliminate the stigma of coming
out!

yeppOne simple word, simplifying the conversation!

As part of their launch, yepThreads started a Kickstarter campaign to grow their reach and grow their brand. Their goal is to print yep apparel recognizing the 37 States (hopefully all 50 soon) where marriage is currently legal and supported. They also want to add a new design of “yep family” – for those who want to support LGBT family members.

Once yepThreads surpasses their goal of $5,500 (they’re already at 75% of the way) they have committed the next $1,000 to Pride Center San Antonio. Supporting an amazing local project and a local LGBT organization at the same time – HOW AWESOME IS THAT?

The fun doesn’t stop there! yepThreads is committed to giving back to the community once the yep line begins and has selected The Center as their non-profit of choice. Details are still being developed but what an exciting time for yepThreads and Pride Center San Antonio!

Please consider taking a look at their Kickstarter campaign and contributing, there’s no amount too small or too large. They have some exciting packages for donations starting at $1 and up; to include larger packages that come with yep apparel.
