LGBTQ+ Youth of Color Group
The Center is excited to provide ten more weeks of free group therapy for young, LGBTQ+ persons of color! Therapist Nelson Hernández, LMFT-Associate, will lead a free, 10-week therapy group for LGBTQ+ young adults of color (18-29). This group will meet virtually, once a week for ten weeks. This group will begin on Wednesday July 27th. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 7pm.
About this group:
The LGBTQ+ youth of color group is designed to provide support, guidance, and ways of managing your mental and emotional well-being. Potential topics include family and social supports, safety and discrimination, coming out and/or transitioning, access to services and local resources, and resilience and perseverance.
