Today is the day! It’s Give OUT Day, and it’s your time to step up and support The Center – Pride Center San Antonio and its goal to raise at least $2,000. We know for many of you, you have wondered if you should give and for even more of you that you didn’t think your gift could make a difference. The reality is that every dollar counts! The Center would not exist without volunteers and donors like each of you. Every dollar that we raise goes to support our programs like PRIDE Families, Peace Officers Training, and Safe Zone Training. Additionally, your support during today’s Give OUT Day will help support the launch of our newest programming efforts to support LGBTQ+ Seniors in San Antonio; collaborate and support homeless LGBTQ+ Youth; and most importantly support our finding a permanent physical home for The Center.
The Center – Pride Center San Antonio has a chance to win up to $10,000 additional dollars by having the largest number of donations given over the 24 hour Give OUT Day period. This prize is not about how much we raise, but about how many people give. Giving just $10 can help The Center.
Give because NOT having a center is NOT an option. Give because in the last three years we have trained over 300 SAPD officers in how to work within our community. Give because we have over 50,000 LGBTQ+ people in San Antonio. Give because there is still so much work to be done. Give because we can’t do it without YOU!
